Introduction

The primary emphasis of Ron’s practice is estate planning, probate and trust administration; together with real estate and general business law. Ron joined Withers, Brant, Igoe & Mullennix, P.C. in 1986.

Experience
● Experienced in the design, drafting, implementation, and administration of trusts and probate estates for over 30 years, including experience as bank trust officer
● Assists individuals and families in all aspects of estate planning, including family and business succession planning, charitable gift planning, and real estate and general transactional work
● Serves as General Counsel to William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri
● President and Director of College Hill Investments, Inc. (for-profit subsidiary of William Jewell College)
● Extensive experience in presenting estate planning seminars

Personal

Ron is active in civic and professional organizations. He currently serves on the Boards of the Northland Community Foundation, Liberty Hospital Foundation (Honorary; Past President), and the Missouri Baptist Foundation. He has previously served as Chairman of the Liberty Area Chamber of Commerce, as a Director of the Clay County Economic Development Commission, and as a member of the Central Governing Board of Children’s Mercy Hospital, among other activities.

He has served on the Liberty Planning and Zoning Commission, the Liberty Parks and Recreation Board, and is a recipient of the Missouri Municipal League “Civic Leadership Award.”
