Jerome E. Brant
Managing shareholder with more than 40 years of litigation experience and hundreds of judge and jury trials, representing school districts, municipalities, and businesses across the Northland.
Jerome Brant has practiced law from the Historic Liberty Square since 1972, and has led the firm through five decades of growth in Clay County and the greater Kansas City area. In that time he has tried hundreds of cases to both judges and juries.
His public service shaped the practice he built. He has served as Clay County Counselor, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, and City Prosecutor for Liberty. That experience gives the firm’s public entity clients a lawyer who has sat on the government’s side of the table. Today he counsels school districts, municipalities, and county governments on the full range of matters they face, from personnel and policy questions to contested litigation.
Alongside that work, Jerry handles complex civil litigation, real estate transactions and disputes, business formation and governance, and probate administration for families across the Northland.
His service to the profession has been recognized twice with The Missouri Bar President’s Award, and he spent nearly two decades on the Bar’s Board of Governors, including a term on its Executive Committee.
